CRF Foods plans to reopen plant after lengthy sanitation process
After one of the largest recalls in recent history, CRF Foods is planning to reopen its Pasco plant. Right now a team is inside the CRF Frozen Foods distributing plant in Pasco, going through what a spokesperson describes as a "long and meticulous" process of cleaning and testing every piece of equipment. They're trying to find the source of a listeria outbreak but a spokesperson says they might never find that source before reopening the plant.

Scientists predict decreasing snowpack, challenging water managers to store the water supply longer in summer
Scientists predict climate change will continue to make the Pacific Northwest warmer. What that means is there will be less and less snowpack. By the year 2035, the annual water supply is expected increase by 9%. But that will be in the form of more rain and less snowpack, meaning water managers will have to come up with new ways to store water for longer periods during the summer months.
